But some of each. We got some great spices and some local crafts. Note that there are two buildings and that the market is busier and more vibrant in the am.

From time immemorial, the market has been the center of civilization’s trade and economic activity. The Victoria Street Market in Durban is no different and through constant evolution, has stood the test of time.
Durban’s Victoria Street Market is a great place to visit, there’s lots of things to look at. I enjoyed pancakes for lunch there and bought a Zulu cultural outfit with shoes made from car tyres! Whatever you do guys, do not get spice in your eyes, that was not cool! This was a crazy day that I tell everyone about often. You should check it out.
***Not recommended to visit the muti market on your own, chat to Chris or Norma at www.blue-dolphin-ts.co.za and they can arrange a visit for you. They know a whole bunch of cool places in Durban and surrounds
*** Victoria Street Market has underground parking or catch an Uber to the front entrance.
